Mark Benford
Mark Benford is a Los Angeles based FBI Special Agent which a dry sense of humour and a knack of solving obscure problems and cases using his high level intelligence. Benford has the perfect life so far with a Wife and daughter and a good standard of living, but he has issues in his past that still affect him today. A former alcoholic Benford has been on the road to recovery ever since his daughter was born.
Mark Benford is played by the British actor Joseph Fiennes the brother of Ralph and jumped to fame with his performance on the movie Shakespeare in Love.
Olivia Benford
Olivia Benford is a a highly trained doctor specializing in trauma surgery and a very strong character. She enjoys her job and life and is very driven to perform well and very hard of the staff who work under her at the hospital. Olivia is the wife of Mark Benford and together they have a daughter Charlie.
Olivia Benford is played by Sonya Walker who has been in lots of TV shows and is well known for her role of Penny on Lost but has also been in various shows like Sleeper Cell and The Sarah Conner Chronicles.
Demetri Noh
Demetri Noh is Mark Benford’s parter at the Los Angeles FBI dept and is one of the younger agents in the field. Demetri is full of energy for his job and life and is planning to get married to his finance Zoey, with a big love for karaoke. During the Flash Forward Demetri did not see any visions which causes him to believe that in six months time he may not actually be alive which would explain why he didn’t have a vision like everyone else.
Demetri Noh is played by the actor John Cho who has been working in films for years with roles on American Pie, the Harold and Kumar movies and most recently on Star Trek playing Lieutenant Sulu.
Janis Hawk
Janis Hawk is another FBI Agent working at the Los Angeles Field Office, she has excellent resourcing skills and analytical abilities, she a friend and also trained with Demetri Noh at the FBI academy. Hawk has a tomboyish nature that often helps her out at work but not when it comes to finding a date.
Janis Hawk is played by Christine Woods who has been in various TV shows over the last few years like In Plain Sight, House and NCIS.
Stanford Wedeck
Stanford Wedeck is the Assistant Director of the Los Angeles FBI Department where he overseas the work of Mark, Demetri and Janis. He quickly moved up the ranks in the FBI and possess organization skills that have allowed him and his team to find great success in their work. Wedeck is also a father and a husband and with his only child recently going away to college he is finding solace in his work as he gets used to a quieter home life.
Stanford Wedeck is played by Courtney B. Vance and has starred in lots of movie over the year from Space Cowboys to the Hunt for Red October.
Bryce Varley
Bryce Varley is a studying intern at the hospital working under Olivia Benford studying surgery. While the stress of life is affecting Varley, the long hours required to become a doctor are pushing him to his limits and is in a very dark place, considering doing something drastic in his life that could end it all.
Bryce Varley is played by Zachary Knighton has played roles in TV an film including Cherry Falls, The Prince and Me and the Hitcher.
Aaron Stark
Aaron Stark is a technician at the cities department of water of power and is also a recovering alcoholic like Mark Benford. Though their shared addiction Stark and Benford became good friends and is Benford’s Sponsor and confidant.
Aaron Stark is played by Brian F. O’Byrne who is an award winning Irish actor who recently starred in the International but has stared in other movies like Million Dollar Baby and Before the Devil Knows Your Dead.
Nicole Kirby
Nicole Kirby is a nineteen year old student and babysitter for the Benford’s. She was a friend of Aaron Starks daughter Tracy, who was killed fighting in Afghanistan and that is how she came to know the Benford’s.
Nicole Kirby is played by Payton List who has appeared on TV and the big screen in films like Enemy of the State and TV shows like Sex and the City.
Lloyd Simcoe
Lloyd Simcoe is trapped in Northern California when the Flash Forward occurs and is struggling to reach his son who is in a Southland Hospital.
Lloyd Simcoe is played by Jack Davenport who rose to fame in the TV show This Life and has starred in movies like Pirates of the Caribbean.
